3 degrees isnt much gilbert, if you can get someone to do the maths (there is a formula for this, hit up a year 12) you should be able to do it the cheapo way and cut 1/3 of a standard height flat riser appart and then put it on your board to give you the angle your after

yes i know that's an option, but i dont like the idea of my baseplate sitting on such a small area of contact when you do it the cheapo way.

i have done some the cheapo way, i ran a soft flat thats very thin under it and it seemed to be fine, it sorta compressed on the angle and i got more contact

sam, apollo bay has some good hills, there is a rough gnarly run up the back of town near the sorta look out which is pretty tech, there are also some good hills up the road from the servo, when are you heading up? i am going to be around after boxing day if you want to ride in the bay, me and brock can show you the hills if you want

defs pack your board, if you go up to the back hill i wouldnt ride it unless you know you can predrift well, otherwise your going to end up like me and smash some guard rails

colby, your out that way, have you checked out deans marsh road and falls road in lorne? there is also a sweet street that escapes my name is kinda near pizza pizza

Deans marsh rd is fairly busy, especially on the weekends, and fair few crazy drivers, not a bad surface from memory. Hit it up in the early morning (ie. 8am) or late evening (8pm) and it might be ok. Sick road if you are brave enough. Haven't driven that way in a while, might check it out before christmas in time for summer break.

i have ridden deans marsh road a few times, same with falls, its gnarly as fuck hahaha.

over summer we will be having a big ride with all the crew out that way, i will be in/near lorne after x-mas for a while same with a few other riders so we are thinking we will have a big sesh in lorne

one of the MOSS guys Troy said he'd like to come along to one of our sessions to take some photos, he is a rad guy and a dam good photographer, been doing bowl skating shots for a couple of years and is trying to put together a portfolio, we got anything planed for the next couple of weeks that might be suitable?
