i know he has, but from what he posted, it seemed like he was unsure of how to go about doing it, i was trying to offer some advice to set him off in the right direction
also, i'm not sure how pleasure dome will work with a drop, it seems from just stuffing around with a piece of paper, that you wont be able to get the wood to bend in both a W and a drop unless you stop the W before the drop and have a pocket of no W if that makes sense
Does anyone have some indy base plates they can sell me???
I need some because my slalom trucks work better with them then the original ones. THe original ones are trash.
there should be no problem skating at fitzroy garden. They have no biking signs but there are no no skateboarding signs. The rangers have seen us skating there before and don't care.
well i've only came across a ranger once and she just told us not to skate. we said we're just chilling and she just drove off. waited about 10 mins and she was out of the fitzroy gardens.
the rangers in flagstaff never gave us any trouble either. i think it's just carlton gardens.
LOL jessse, i think that was sarcasm. Some cyclists are being fined $250 for riding in Carlton gardens so i'd imagine that we'd cop it even worse if we rode there.
skateboards and bikes are not under the same classification. If there are no "no skating" signs in carlton garden, then we have to right to skate there...and i'm pretty sure we are allowed to skate there. We might be checking out templestowe this saturday. Apparently the steepest road in Melbourne is there and there's a hairpin on that road. No cars.

ROAD SAFETY ROAD RULES 2009 (SR NO 94 OF 2009) - REG 18
Who is a pedestrian
A "pedestrian" includes—
(a) a person driving a motorised wheelchair that cannot travel at over 10 kilometres per hour (on level ground); and
(b) a person in a non-motorised wheelchair; and
(c) a person pushing a motorised or non-motorised wheelchair; and
(d) a person in or on a wheeled recreational device or wheeled toy.
Note
"Wheelchair", wheeled recreational device and "wheeled toy" are defined in the dictionary.
" wheeled recreational device " means a wheeled device, built to transport a person, propelled by human power or gravity (or in the case of a scooter, propelled by a person pushing one foot against the ground, or by an electric motor or motors, or by a combination of these), and ordinarily used for recreation or play, and—
(a) includes rollerblades, rollerskates, a skateboard, a scooter that is not a motor vehicle, or similar wheeled device;
(b) does not include a golf buggy, pram, stroller or trolley, or a bicycle, wheelchair or wheeled toy, or a scooter that is a motor vehicle.
" wheeled toy " means a child's pedal car, scooter, tricycle or similar toy.
So it apears that in the state of Victoria Skateboarders are considdered as Pedestrians.
So if they try to issue a fine to skaters under the "no riding bicycles in parks by-law", unless skateboards are also noted in that bylaw, they legally can't.
And Flagstaff gardens is a cool spot to roll.
