Guys please stop telling him that not wearing a helmet is ok. Its not. As proven by mitch. Even if you're careful, shit still happens. If something happens to him we'll probably have to answer to his parents, so lets make sure we skate safe with him.

when you're skating in a new place/road/whatever, its always good to have a helmet because you're unfamiliar with the run. i have a spare helmet i could bring if you want. Slide gloves are good as well.

i got some gardening gloves if he needs them, they will let him drop his hands to the ground in turns and save him loseing skin. i also got a helmet if you need one, its medium sized

And i have a dirt bike helmet without the visor, will that be fine???

Its what i use when im doing dh.
And I have slide gloves, no big woop just some dirtbike glooves with hardwood atached.

Will that be good or will it look dumb???

I've been looking, the road surface is mostly shocking out maldon/maryborough way, mt tarrengower is the mountain I could see on the way home today, it's this big bulge on an otherwise almost completely flat countryside. I think i remember another mountain when we came through castlemaine, at which point i got distracted by Hamish and Andy and my ipod lol, next time we go up, i'll check it out

I have made up my mind for the next board im making, opinions would be good:

Evo, foamcore, pleasure dome and my dad can get a (abbatis) hellcat graphic made for only 30 or 40 bucks.
I know it will be bloody hard to make and it will be.
It will take me about 1 half to 2 months to make.
