we did check a few other roads out up near dandy but they didn't turn out to be any good. there's fern gully road, i think, that we could check out, steep and fast, but i reckon inverness is actually pretty good if we could actually bomb from top to bottom.

yeah, I'm not a fan of the single lane then double lane then single lane config of it though..i mean, it's a great hill, but it's just scary that there's no way to ensure you wont run into the front of a car

You dont need a car to go to inverness, but it would be easier, and the other road you do apparently.

Juan is loving it! And Dale, there is a bus down the bottom which takes you to the top.

There is no 1 bus at the bottom which takes u to the top. You have to take 2 buses and there's about a 1 hr wait between the 2 buses. Friday is gonna be pouring rain according to the mountain's forecast. For inverness you won't need anyone to spot if u got someone to drive. It's best that the person driving drives in front of the riders to spot for any on coming cars at the single lane area. That run is too fast for any car to catch up from behind anyways. There's a speed limit of 50 when u can go well over 60.

No worries, we won't be doing anything crazy, we know our limits (which aren't really high). I doubt we'll be hitting any real hills due to bad weather this weekend anyway. Thanks for looking out for us though.

well this is what im planning to do:

head to fitzroy gardens around 4 and skate til we get hungry, grab a bite and some beer, and then head to flinders for more skating!

and this is wut I'M planning on doing. Finish class at 4, go home and get some sleep because i didn't get any the night before due to assignments and tests, wake up at around 7ish and head to city for carpark sesh.
