well, where to start? vernon dh 09. such a sik location, such a rad road. the weather was great, hot and steamy. first time walkin up the hill for practice it was intence. the top section of the track is steep, sweeps gently to the left then to the right and before ya get time to scratch ya nuts ya into the flat over 90 corner ,small bend to the left then into a decevingly long right then a long straightawy to the end. both corners were pretty shitty pavement which increased the gnar factor. practice saw me in the very last spot of the day so sit and analyise i did. figure out my line through wat id felt in the practice and wat id seen in the moments leading to my timetrial. it was a super clean run down and i knew id done well how well i was unsre of. micho came down after me and he looked fast. real fast. turned ou i was in second behind scoot before the super clean king came and cleaned up. times are all up on IGSA. day two well this i thought could be my day. turned out it wasnt. crashed on the straight away at the finish passing meatball, breaking a baseplate. the next two runs saw me folow my same line into the fast left hander, maybe a lil hotter into the corner than day one and clippin the last hay bail on exit. twice into the same bail and two more broken base plates. 3 in total for my dy. the first two crashes didnt faze me. it was the first heat crash that gutted me. first to my board and couldnt ride with a busted baseplate. i saw my race slip away. rights to all the boys in the finals, some seriously shit hot ridding once again. its all about learning from your mistakes. im ready for europe and i will do well.

I'm on a mission I've been hammering my slalom for my next bash which is Canberra but Newton's is only about 16 wks away and before I start using the Mt Tamborine rds I've (the wife) has sourced I need to be able to turn left, hence this Sunday. I'll be at the circuit everyone was at b4 upsie downsie 2wks ago....this gives me a good 2 rights and then a good 2 lefts with a bit of speed....need to work on my technical then my speed anyone in the same boat come on down; foot braking practice would be good for those off to Bathurst >;0)

yeah mate ill be out there...gonna head out for some faster runs in the arvo merrrick but ill come for the early session first...

Not in a physical condition to tuck at all at the moment but will be taking some cones and the slalom board to the playground for a couple of hours early on Sunday, anyone got a slalom board bring it on down...have to take our Hong Kong guest to springbrook so can't stay long.
For those that knew about the skate park land we have had to let the 95 acres go as we couldn't raise the money through the business this year....watch this space in 2011 f#*@ing gutted!!!! "barkeep another shot over here"

mate , you know there's a group of us going to the playground (mkii version) on sunday morn 9 ish having buck races and skating until midday when the sales guy would prefer we stopped as traffic ramps up from then etc...and we bring stuff for a bbq

Same as last Sunday only from 6am an all round 40 cone (well 20 cone 20 disc) downhill course at the mountain playground for those that wiggle
