Not skating related but other than asking rock climbers i figured this was the right crew. I'm trying to buy a slackline but have no idea where to go to buy one, anyone here bought a slackline before and/or knows where to get one. Preferably i'd like a store but ordering online isn't a problem. Cheers guys

Hey dude. What i did was went to bunnings and bought a 10m ratchet strap. The sort of line that truckies use to secure a load. then all you need is some good rope (make sure to use good rope or it will snap) or some climbing slings to throw around a couple of tree's and you're away! Way cheaper than an actual slackline and just as good!

Hey guys. i just went looking for some good sights in perth. i used to have a cruser board but now im buying a downhill/sliding board on tuesday.
i really want some good spots and someone to teach me how to slide, anyone able to help out?
... im getting all the pads, gloves and helmet soon.

if you want some help starting out, theres usually a big group of people who go to the city every wednesday night and skate the stackers there. Would be a good way to learn cos its all pretty mellow. anyway, add me on facebook or something if you want deets.

Is there a way we can ask the kalamunda council to close zigzag hill and lascelles parade to cars  every now and then, like once a fortnight or month??? so we can do it safely without endangering ourselves and other road users.

No. Unfortunately Perth's local councils are not open minded OR forward thinking enough to even consider something like this.

hey does anyone know a place where there are ditches, me and 2 of my mates want to go there, and yes we arent gonna tell everyone these spots, i know the rules. dont post street names and dont bring to much attention to a spot, i was just wondering if there was a ditch/dam/storm run off in perht that is good for skating

Hey Michael. You are out of luck mate, Australind is flat as flat can be. I would suggest investing in a park board and learning to skate a mini ramp.
