I'm hurting in places I never knew I had..... Awesome run, people. Next time I'll make it longer.
"I stole someones glasses case "
I got halfway home and realised I forgot and said a lot of unrepeatable words.... Knew it would happen. I'll send you my mobile number so I can grab it back some time - or if you're there next Thurs just as easy.
can no one read? states in the top of page in the blurb.
Urban car-park bombing and general mayhem on Thursday nights in the big bad city. Meet at Railway Square at 6.30pm
railway square is near central on the intersection of george st and broadway. gather near mecure hotel.
I have to say, the staff at POW emergency looked spectacularly _unsurprised_ when we walked in holding two longboards.
Looks like it's just a dislocated finger, not broken. Great session up til then...
That X-Ray is as good as gabes (Count von Count) face when saw it.
Sorry about the Opera House Vid. It is not worth it. Just concrete passing by footage.
I did the exact same thing to my little finger once while playing soccer (I was a keeper). A team-mate took one look at it and yanked it back into place. Instant relief.
There's a ligament that directly connects the two bones, and that ligament is very short and can't stretch far and it snapped in my case and is surely snapped in this case too. It can't be repaired. Your finger will be a little wonky for the rest of your life.
Just a heads up to everyone who hasn't heard
Galston Gorge (between dural and hornsby) has closed down for road works for a few weeks, the work when i checked last was just at a small segment at the end but as it doesn't have any turn offs no cars should be on it. Down from hornsby it is a quite intense hill with multiple hairpins, coming down from the dural side its a bit calmer but would be an enjoyable ride.
batch of new SCBS santa cruz logo tees just printed with mixed results, available somewhere soon. Hopkin skate most likely as thats where everyone goes for all skate goods. yeew!
yo, have you guys skated the carpark for 'Landmark Apartments' on 352 Sussex Street in the city? Pretty mellow 8 floor squareish spiral, pretty good for drifting etc. The best thing about it though is the staff. We spoke to about 6 members of staff in ~5 runs and they all either told us to be careful or to have fun. When the manager finally kicked us out she actually apologised, asking whether our boards were speedboards and chatting about her skater brother. was great
No, sorry. It's not actually open to the public is the dodgy bit, but we've never had to wait longer than 5 mins to sneak in. Wish my parents'd let me out to skate with you guys :P
