We need to buy a lot of slalom cones to use for our Melbourne slalom comps. If you have some for sale (new or used) or any ideas where we can get some. As our events are usually free I hope the good karma comes back to us with offers that wont have us needing to raise much money through race fees.

Sorry but due to total fire ban and extreme heat  Saturday 18th Dec the slalom in Falkner Park is canceled. We hope to have an event in Feb and may have a pop up event before. The only cones tomorrow will be ice-cream.

Was great Bernie ,   Fun track set up 40 cones 7m open then down to 70 cm at the end, Had a new skater to slalom and he loved it , the track has seen better days its starting to break up from tree roots and clay movement, next Sydney roll will be at Sutherland track ,  the bee keepers house, Will try to give the  guys & gals  a bit more notice  so we can get a few more heads along ,  post a date soon Cheers  MG   

Just a thought , Next Sydney slalom I will run it on the Sunday at the  Sutherland track,  With a view to have a roll at least once a month, there, or any suitable location ,

Will have a look and see if i can find the Bike club dates, so as not to clash, they can be C#%*s when comes to sharing

A fantastic day at Sutherland with a 60 cone track at 4 & 5 ft with some wicked offsets , Set by Evan Miris & Ben Freifeld Highlight for me was Effie Miris claiming a clean "bare foot" run

Hi Folks , Due to low numbers in the past the, Sutho sessions have  just been for fun,   ,,,Still out to lunch on the final verdict ,, But we  have ticked all the boxs so far , looks like we could have the numbers for the  Sutherland Session on the 10th to go towards points,

Because we need to rebuild activity, a new category has been added to the slalom rankings:

See the categories listed in the rankings spreadsheet.
To encourage activity, without undermining Premium events, a new category has been added for those events with less than 12 people, and no interstate entrants.

If an event has less than 12 but more than 8, you will earn the minimum points for category 7, however, if you have interstate entrants, who have traveled with the expectation of an event with more than 12, then category 6 will be applied to the event.

This is of course subject to ratification by the board.

State of origin now in slalom rankings.

Its on again folks Sutherland Session ,  Round 4 of the ASRA Slalom Point score, Sunday June 26th at Waratah Park Sutherland , 

Sutherland will up-rated to a Category 6 race if interstate racers show up.

On behalf of the Highlands Slalom crew ,Just want to say ,,Thanks for all your work Bernard Griffiths ,tabulating race results for the ASRA Slalom point score again this year, , 2016 has been a great year for Slalom ,with 65 riders battling it out in 13 Official races run by CROSS , HOSS, BMB & MOSS , Also with many other fun days at Alawah ,, Sutherland & NACCOS areas , Slalom is alive and well .. 2017 is looking even better. Hi Mark, Is there any special requirements for Newtons Slalom such as rego or entry fees?

Hi Fitz , This year, as like 2013, there is no fees for the Bathurst Slalom , Entry is open to any ASRA or IDF member ,It was discussed with Hop that  ASRA was to  provide a  link to a waiver that could be printed and signed , but at this stage its  not yet available  , If  they do provide one we will print them out and people can do it on the day, Hope you can make it along Cheers MG
