also, i need to lay down some general info, from now on SUNDAY NIGHT RIDES ARE 8 AT FITZY if dry (meet at fed square if unsure where) and 300 latrobe street if wet (meet at the state libary steps if unsure how to get there)

Newmarket railway station (Meet up) we will be riding in the sail yards

details
We are meeting at newmarket station and shredding up the sailyards estate for a few hours

This is a jam session in a housing estate littered with fun little spots, its a safe area for the groms to be in and the roads are quiet, think of it as just one big ride with series points up for grabs.

Its going to be judged on who steps up the most, peoples skills will vary alot, so its judged against how good your riding compared to how good you ride, that means if your a grom who cant slide and you stick a coleman by the end of the day or something then your going to win, on the flip side if guys who are good are just riding and laying down what they know then they wont win, its all about pushing yourself.

there will also be a best trick off the kicker prize

HELMETS are required and gloves are ideal but not mandatory.

mid day at newmarket station before moving into the sail yards housing estate to hit up some oldschool spots and just have a big ass group ride

 

ultra skate (get brady to confirm this) but i think its on the 12th of feb-the 13th of feb starting at 9am

feb 19 at fitzy gardens, kicking off at 7pm and hopefully finished by 10pm

sunday march 13th 11.30am. near the corner of Thomas Holmes street and Edgewater Boulevard edgewater

Head to Head racing with the chance of a kicker at the start line for the open division

ALL THESE EVENTS ARE DRUG AND ALCOHOL FREE FOR THOSE UNDER 18 YEARS OF AGE (this includes smoking). I dont mind if the older guys bring down a long neck or two but i dont want to see guys rolling around with a slab on their shoulder. If a minor is found to be drinking or smoking then the items will be confiscated and parents will be contacted, they also face being barred from future events.

I am going to be tough on this and the only exemption will be to guys that are either turning 18 that year or i personally know their parents are fine with them partaking in the consumption of alcohol, tobbacco or any other drug.

All good for the 6th of Feb Meany.

Also managed to get the 5th off work too so slopestyle should be dope.

We should do something to celebrate our hundredth member. Who was the last one to join Melbourne Sessions?

Ok groms heres the go. tomorrow flinders 11:00 got a bunch of other groms meeting up putting together tryouts for a under 18's melbourne squad. so if your under 18, come out and meet us. :) haha and for those over 18 just come and skate anyway if your free. :) and yes before anyone says anything we will respect the public and keep any spots we hit-up clean.
