i aint skating tonight cos i just got home.....
however i am skateboarding tomorrow with a forigner named DOM who freebords, we are heading out at 2pm from flinders street station
if i had the cash i would buy it, i want one so bad right now ching, i also got a mate who may be looking for a board with wedgeing soon so if it dont go that way let me know
hey boys, tomorrow carlton gardens at 12.30 is the meet up, gonna bomb with the zombie shuffle so yeah, be there if you want, i know callum is gonna be down there as well as me and jesse
Secondly. i've ridden stock sidewinders, they completely suck. They could probably be alright after a bushing swap (60$ worth) but for 160$...yeah..Also, They wouldn't really suit the style of riding the 9two5 was intended for.
Maybe try some out? if you like them then why not?
yeah, ben we will be infront of the caffe tonight.
9 two five with sidewinders would be interesting, if i got one i would run indy 215's or bears on it but thats just me. sidewinders are a shit load of fun, if you have them worked out with tightness but i think they would not be that good in a dh-freeride board.
so... its been a long time coming, but its about time we got a freeride jam down, so here is what i propose, June 5 newmarket runs, gold coin donation towards justin to enter, peer judged, you pretty much get to have your say on who should win, each person gets 3 votes to 3 dif people, going to hit up hemleys etc for prizes but to me they are not important
Perhaps i'm being a dick but why is everyone raising money for Justin? I thought he got all the gear he needed donated to him, so what's up with all the money? Is money going to buy back his sight? Is he a starving child? Does he need medical attention that he can't get? It would be great if someone can answer me that, because I think money is better spent donated to some starving kid in Africa.
yeah fair call fendy, i have no idea honestly, i dunno, lets face it, cash prizes would be alot nicer wouldnt they? i am posting this for peoples thoughts on it, i reckon if we charge $2 to enter and give the cashola to one of the placeings it would be good woudlnt it?
newmarket event will be open to anyone and everyone, a few of my mountainboarding mates are keen to come down and set up some ramps and a bungie launch in the park next to it. tauran if your keen to come and check out the runs i am going down there on thursday with a mate to show him the area so he can work out what kickers etc he will be able to use
sean, big mistake you made last time was revealing all the details way far in advance before anything was set in stone. if you wanna talk about it, pm me, fendy, sam etc whoever you wanna discuss it with.
good luck, june is no good for me with my final final final exams happening that month.
its not going to work for everyone, the last ride shot a hole in my plans and i have to make sacrifises to be there, june 5 works for me, hence putting it out there as a date that would be good. if it dont work for quite a few people then its probobly going to be a good idea to move it (again why i post this on here). hemleys is something that needs discussing, i am personal not the biggest fan of getting them to support the event (i will leave it at that) again lets talk about it. Everything in this event is going to be driven by what people want, slopestyle is something that can work, newmarket has some good terrain for everyone to ride, from guys like gilbert to myself to dudes like phenix who are just sticking their first colemans. and i would love to see some cash go up for the prize
