Yo Jesse, i have finally got round to making new slide gloves after i kept sliding on my finger tips : )
So if you want them there yours brother. You've seen them, they need a little bit of TLC but aren't unsalvageable. They'll be in my bag for the next time we're out.

There are only 2 real corners at Newtons. Sean freaked out on the 1st corner, walks down to the 2nd corner, and then walks back up to the top. Is it that hard to believe?? It happened during a practice run, not the race... Sean didn't even try to qualify for the race.

um, i got through the first turn (its a pretty half arsed turn but yeah) got through the dipper, lost traction freaked out and cruised down to the dipper shaking like anything before calling it in

It's not that freaky... Just keep a cool head and don't let what other people say about the track get to you. Before my wheels wore out, all my runs were perfect.

it may be steep and the quick acceleration will deceive you making you go alot faster than you think you are, but once you figure out your lines on the course, you're all good and you'll have loads of fun. here's hoping we get more practice runs this year

Vans & Fast Times Present : Gettin Barreled in the Burbs 1pm 21st March 2010.

So we figured with the Skate of the Year party on this Saturday we'd chuck a bbq/ditch session on for the Sunday for everyone to continue the good times at. We've got a bunch of obstacles that we'll be building Friday with master builders Steve Gourlay and Lorne Dennis with me as unofficial foreman/official beer runner. Gonna give out slabs and six packs for best tricks on each obstacle and also have a free bbq for everyone to feast on. This is not a comp or demo but just a get together by Vans and Fast Times to enjoy skateboarding an old Melbourne icon , the Springvale drains.
If you haven't skated here then you're gonna love it and if you have you're gonna love what we've added. Come down get and get rad!

hey guys who are keen to shred on saturday and sunday, i am thinking for those who havnt seen my hills we should go and check out edge water and and the ajoing spot (drifters) on one of the days this weekend, both are dope little runs and you can have a hell of alot of fun on them

i cant skate most of this weekend
