Hey West Aus! Getting back to Adelaide from Europe on the 11th of November and I have signed up to Newtons. Don't have a job or even a place to live in Adelaide yet so money is tight. Wondering if any of you cats are driving up to Newtons and if so are you coming through Radelaide and do you have a spare spot? I recommend buying a grade 8 kingpin from any reputable longboard shop.

No i wasn't going fast at all i was really lucky if you think about it haha.
It just felt like my trucks went loose so i checked and sure enough it was snapped. Very thankful i wasn't bombing a hill when it happened

Push down to the Indy bar via a few hills and some slide spots, Drink some beer, have a smoke. Push back and one or two other hills.

I work away and home every second weekend. I just love gettin out my maestro and crusin. Small hills are fun and a small flat land tricks.

Scott, Yes, There are a few of us (some even older then late 20's).
That's what the Scarbrough Sessions on Wednesday are all about.
Pushing through some gentle hills, stopping at the pub for a pint and chat (Too much exercise is dangerous), then pushing home.

I'm in hocking man. I can drive anywhere tho.

Wednesday suck for me tho. My roster works so I fly out on a wed morning then home the following Thursday night. I'm away at the moment. Home this coming Thursday night. Be keen as for anything Friday, sat, sun, mon, tues.

momentum skate shop in claremont/freo has protec kneepads for around $50 seem pretty decent a few people have them and they say they're uber comfy

You hit hard today Jed (it was one of the hardest hits Ive ever seen anyone take), you literately bounced your ass/tailbone of the kerb with enough force to fly like a rag doll doing somersaults.

dude, i've already seen a Doc lol. my knee will be examined in 2 weeks (ultrasound) if it doesnt fully heal by then, so yeah i just have to wait and while i wait i will be buying a GoPro and getting fat on the couch :) *sighs* FML

seriously everyone... make super sure that you're ready to hit bigger/faster hills etc... injuries suck big fat willies and not in the way that chicks like em either
