i have some info... sunday 30th august city to surf... perfect time to get some speed with roads blocked off to traffic :) underwood avenue and oceanic drive in the floreat city beach area will be blocked off for roughly the whole morning :P and if any of you are familiar with underwood avenue then you will be licking your lips, if you dont know it check it on google earth, i reckon you could probably get 80-100 kms down it easy, go to the city to surf website and see if you can recognize any other roads which are worth some urethane, whos keen?

fraser avenue might be blocked off too :P

downhill on wednesday night on canning mills east, 9:30pm in the gravel carpark on the left of canning mills east rd as your going up the hill. come bomb this hill with me, you wont regret it cause its fun as fuck. boys sneak out if you have too haha

hey brodie, i hurt my knee coming off my sisters new board the other day, no brake :p so its a bit sore still. so probably wont make it

yeh ill skate it. ive packed up my leathers and boards to leave tonight and realised it is gonna be a fuckin mission to get them out to go for such a short skate, so im bailing tonight man, sorry. ill get some cool footage and photos and ill show you when i get back

i wish i could go to newtons hell bad... but i gotta get a TEE score haha im gonna look at the timetable but i think leavers starts the second day of newtons so ill probs be at rotto

we need to organize a plan for city to surf, last race starts at 10:30 so do we wanna just rock up at like 9:00 or later and pick gaps in the runners etc, where should we all meet?

coppss might be a problem but, anyone know rules for WA and wanna spill the beans?

not sure, but i say we just rock up, there will be thousands of people there so i dont rreally think they will b pissed.

yeah but it might be a problem if your driving a car because a lot of roads will be closed, but catching the train sounds good, then we could always skate along the route to the different hills

malcolm street is gonna be shut down too, thats the one that runs past parliament house and leads into st georges terrace :P that should be fun to try, its pretty steep too

the run starts at 9am, i have never done it myself but have a few mates doing it this yr. it takes about 1hr to 1.5 hrs i think.

I was thinking going up to oceanic dr around bold park, cos if we get there 8 or nine the runner or walkers wont be there, where as in the city there will be heaps of people... but they have the marathon this year that starts at 6:30 so they will probably be up around then :(

yeah brodie got made piss on his first run...then his second... it was gnar.

well i was thinking 8 at the traino. i was kinda wanting to skate the whole thing, so it would be cool to start with all the runners. whether we will be able to or not is a different story. but i say we give it a shot. if it doesn't work out we can always start from somewhere else.

yeeeeew! gonna have to let me take it for a spin :) dave its a big step up from carparks but if you can get your foot brake workin for ya then there is no reason why you cant do the hill, even if you decide to come, see the hill and dont feel confident with it, im sure we will find others that you will breeze when we go hill hunting
