Workin on breaking in my Freerides and trying to get down my shut-down slides in prep for Thursday night. I do pull them off when the setup feels natural but when it doesn't feel fluid, I end up pulling it into a 180. Hopefully I don't kook it too hard on Thursday night seeings how it's my first sesh with you guys

You'll be fine mate just don't go too big if you're not feeling it. and work on turning your head back down the hill / taking your forward hand off the ground and swinging it downhill to stop a 180

I think my problem is that I tend to grab rail in the slide which serverely limits my foot movement. I started training myself to not hold onto the rail and go faster before sliding and managed to pull off a few good shut-downs last night. I'll head back out tonight to practice a bit more but should be sweet for tomorrow night. Can't wait XD

i know i could probably buy a pair cheaper than its cost me to buy the stuff to make them but i still think i prefer to make my own as customizable as i want

I'm def gonna be joining you guys for bsg this week. The board is back with proper guards (thanks to Col) and I'm painting them tonight or tomorrow morning. If everything goes to plan this week, i should be rockin some Ceramic Tektons too

All skill levels dude. There are only a few things: Wear at least helmet and gloves. You should be able to footbrake pretty comfortably. 
And an ability to shutdown slide will be a big bonus too.

damn been ridin 2 months but no gloves nor helmet :/ but then again i probs need one if we r gonna ride on streets ay? 

Trust me, get a helmet, it's worth the money when you avoid a coma. And if you're gonna learn to slide you pretty much need gloves.

We strongly encourage helmet use. I only take it off if cruising on pedestrian only zones, but it's definitely suitable for bombquad seshes. Gloves are just awsome if you fall, and you need them to get into sliding.
I myself wear helmet, gloves, kneepads and elbow pads. They have saved me many times.

ill defs get one before attending! been way too lucky without one ay... can u just get them from anywhere or are there sites/places for cheap ones? 

Not too easy to find cheap helmets. The most important thing is to get one that fits your head well (a badly fitted helmet can get pretty frustrating). So head down to the hopshop and try some on

Thanks for the run tonight guys - I kinda missing the last turn and ended out back on the street, waited around for about 20 min and then bailed. the the record i stacked it good on the second corner board slid and then gripped flipping me into a car :) ill come around next week again - cant get any worse can I.

So yesterday we had cops waiting for us at the Entertainment Center carpark. Looks like we're going to have to skip that carpark from now on.

So as much as I would love to join in on Bombsquad one final time before leaving, I'm medically prohibited from doing so. This can't stop me from rocking up one final time to see the group again.
So the question is this: At what point of the evening would you prefer for a mysterious figure to emerge from the darkness with a bag full of cookies and possible drinks?
Will probs be this week, maybe next.
