Heyy I have just started longboarding and I was wondering if you could give me any tips on emergency slides because I cant seem to get them.

Hey Joel, where abous are you in sydney?
The fastest an easiest slide i find is to put your hands ( slide gloves) down in front and using your rear foot, kick out the back so that your board is adjacent to the road.

Come to bomb squad this week and get some tips.

Im in wahroonga and I have early blueys and there a bitch to break in so i cant even powerslide yet
And does bomb squad go any other day than thursday?

i just got a set of blueys yesterday and they slide pretty easy, except today for some odd reason? I guess the heat has just made the wheels too soft.

I was practicing before and i was nearly getting it but instead of turning 90 degrees it turned about 80 and rolled away a bit.
And I cant practice now because its raining :(
