Why are you looking for gay skate spots? Slap on some pink lycra bike pants, keep the tank top you're wearing in your profile pic and BAMM, you're going to gay it out no matter where you skate.

I made some gloves but I used pieces of ply coz I'm a carpenter and it was lying around. The ply stuck to the ground and I ate shit. One of the sutho bloke said he'd give me a pair, I just need to get some pucks. Hopefully I'll be @ bs thurs week

Home made gloves are the best, don't be fooled by the advertising. However, get slippery dips for your pucks, you'll thank me.

dude my gloves are leather gardening gloves ($7-$10), corian tile samples for palm pucks i got for FREE from some australian corian website. Slides smooth but loud :/ and then so i dont tear up my fingers i put some chopping board ($5) cause it's lighter and some velcro ($3). I've used loaded freeride gloves before and they aren't as good as mine xD. i can't coleman well yet but doing toeside hand's down pendies for life xD only sometimes i end up infront of my board and i dunno how LOL

Yeah a helmet is pretty important, I learnt the hard way! I can foot break fine but my slides aren't good enough yet to pull out a shut down in an emergency. It's a bit hard without gloves!

ahh, just learn to footbrake and maybe be able to slide to a stop and you'll be right. i havent gone bomb squad yet either cause my dumbass friend wont buy a helmet to come with me lol -.-
