ASRA - Australian Skateboard Racing Association

Hi,

I'm looking for my first longboard and I'm pretty much open to anything. Main use will be carving/cruising along both smooth tracks and rough roads. Would love to get a drop through mount, not really interested in a drop down. I'm pretty light (60+kg) so something nice and flexy for carving would be nice.

Ballpark figure would be 38"+ 180mm Randals 76mm gumballs 78a

Willing to pay for postage anywhere from Aus I'm near Sydney. Let me know what you have, photos please. Cheers

Mate I have a Insect - Mosquito that might be OK for you.

36" drop-thru deck. Holey trucks, Reds, Freerides. Very good condition.

I couldn't let it go for anything < $250 + postage. If you're interested let me know & I'll post some photo's.
Photos would be great, thanks

Thanks for the photos Carl. Looks like a sick board although I'll have to read up more on the mosquitos first to see if they suit me. Will get back to you later tonight. Bottom is carbon fibre right? I guess it is a pretty stiff board then?
The board is maple. The bottom has a layer of fibeglass of some sort. Very flexy.

Good carving / pumping. Certainly not recommended for downhill.

I'm loving the composite look, how big are the wheels?
72mm

I'm pretty keen on this board now Carl. Where abouts are you?
I'm in North Queensland. I can get it in the post but won't be until next Friday. Probably need to allow $25 for postage & handling. If there's any change I'll donate it to ASRA.

I have a set of gumballs that might be better for carving (76mm / 78A). I can put them on if you prefer.

I sent you a "friend request" so we can continue this by PM.
