Any longboarders up in Cairns?

Hey, was just wondering if there's any boarders up in Cairns that wanna go for a cruise and maybe show me the ropes. I'm fairly new to the sport, but I'm not a complete noob :P keen to meet some young people interested in riding up here.

Sorry Ado, Cairns is the furthest south I'm going...this Queensland thing is ridiculously big.

Wow mate, how far North are you going? The Mossman range used to be quite rough, have they resurfaced it? The Gillies south of Cairns up to the Tablelands is amazing but may be difficult on a skateboard (I lost count last time we rode it at corner 391) and there are a few nice roads around Bayview Heights and Redlynch.
