I just want to know which of these trucks would be the "Best" for the ride/feel, value and how long they will last.
I want a truck that will mainly be for DH but i want to get into learning Drifts eventually. These Trucks would go onto a Rayne Vandal with Venom Cannibal wheels. Also what bushing setup might be good for whatever setup i end up getting
What I've heard is that the Aera's are Great for DH/Freeride (but have slop?)
Also with Ronins i heard that they are great for DH but also good for Freeride but bad as well?
And the truck I'm leaning to the most is the Grizzly's because apparently they have no slop, great for Freeride and also Great for DH

Aeras feel rad, but the pivot cups ware out and they eventually have slop, and once they do it takes a lot of fucking around to get them to feel nice again, bears are sick, no slop, and shitloads of turn and lean
i have randals. im getting gunmetal mach 10's though
cause i heard that the mach tens have lean some what in a aera hanger but it is a cast truck, plus im getting a new board with it, so its just easier having 2 sets of trucks rather than swaping trucks, plus these come with custom 91a( regular formula) black venom barrels, flat/cup washer. which are real nice. my friend has em and they are so nice for DH/FR
I thought the same for a while, but its not true...they are really easy to set up right...you just need to know what your doing. It took me about 10 minutes to set up a mates properly, dopey grom had em set up all sorts of wrong.

Aeras have the tiniest amount of slop (i speak from experience, since i own a set that i bought brand new, and have ridden them for a few months)

Wut? Aeras' don't have slop...
i heard they fixed that in the K4's. and K4's being overall alot better than the older K3's
yeah, hopefully they fixed the bushing seat, i have problems with putting venom barrels in my k3 7's, the bushings dont really fit in the bushing seat, its a little too tight, especially on the boardside bushing seat. The lip of the bushing gets caught on the edge of the bushing seat and gets shredded up.
Anyone else had this problem?

Also, the so called "slop" in Aeras can be fixed easily , by replacing the pivot tube
