No more do these outlaw criminals have to lurk i n the shaddows, no more do the downhill bombers need to fear the fuzz, no more do we have to play like ninjas to ensure a full day of racing , this time the Wild West is 100% legit!\nThats right, TWO full days o f stacked skateboarding! Come one come all out to Lowther Siding rd i n Lithgow to take a stab at bringing home the bacon or just to check o ut some snazzy dudes in leathers whizz by at speeds up to 80km/h.\nThe Wild West will take place on the 4th and 5th of July so book in the d ates and get prepared! Racing will feature opens, juniors and women's devisions. so there will be fun for all ages.\n!!!!SAFETY REQUIREMENTS !!!!! Full leathers and full face helmet is recommended, however if yo u do not have access to leather suits you must be in full length thick clothing (denim jeans leather jacket or thick hoody) and MUST have kn ee and elbow pads on. Yes elbow pads are dorky but i DONT CARE if you don't have em you don't race no exceptions. If you don't want to look dorky get yourself a sweet leather suit and look badass!\nAccommodatio n will be at 'The Barn' located close to the race hill on the Saturday and Sunday night (possibly also Friday night too for the dedicated an d the volunteers). Pitching a tent will cost $10 per night.\nRegistrat ion will cost about $80 and that will cover you two full days of ridin g plus racing in a safe hay-baled environment. This year there will be TWICE as much hay on the road to keep you guys as safe as possible so you can go as HARD as possible! Please contact me di rectly if you wish to be a volunteer, the following positions will be available:\nTrack Marshall - man the radios and help with proper commu nication between the start/finish line (must have decent communication skills)\nFinish Line - An extra set of eyes to help spot out which ri der's are which and relay the information to the main Finish Line mars hall for results recording.\nStart Line - A helper at the start line t o organise riders into the appropriate heats to ensure fast flow of th e event and less confusion.\nMedia - If you are an avid photographer o r videographer and would like to be a part of the film crew please get in contact!\nTransport - anyone with an LR License that wishes to hel p with the transport driving would be our top priority. This member of the team is a VIP and could be compensated for their time spent at th e event.
