Event Description

Location:

The hill is located about 5 minutes from the bottom of maquarie pass. It's out if the way of any traffic and very very quiet. It's very steep, fairly rough, and nice and turny.


Rider Limit:
Limiting it to 32 riders, seeded by ASRA rankings. 4 man heats single elimination format.

REGISTRATION

Registration will begin on Friday 27th July, at 6pm The cost is $15 and the rider limit is 32. Once rego is paid there will be no refunds for any reason, you use it or you lose it.

The Track:
This road is fast, windey and just a little bit rough. The corners require sliding and the straight sections are difficult to tuck through.
Leathers are advised but not compulsory, fullface helmets and gloves are!


Prizes:
Podium wins cash money$$$ as well as a new FP skateboard for the winner. There will also be a top 4 grom race for a $50 voucher for shellharbour surf and skater.

how rough is it?footage of someone skating it would be good,.if its to rough to tuck and race,whats the point,..has anyone even skated it,coehn description doesnt sound good,.theres been enough outlaws held on dodge hills eh,im over turning up to hills that arent raceable,.riders need more clarity,

C'mon guys need to get the numbers registered! If I get the numbers the podium prizes are $200(1st) $100(2nd) $50(3rd), as well as a band new fp skateboard for the winner!!

Lucas, to be honest the top speed is unknown. It is a technial downhill run per se (requires sliding at some point), so speeds of approx 80km/hr can be achieved if you go hard. Although generally since the surface somewhat rough and steep, you will only want to race at about 60km/hr.

Brandon its not the original hill this race was going to be at but it is the "original" backup hill.

I didnt realize this was even on the cards to happen at nova matti, anyway bro keep it to that other hill like steve said logistics of potential crashes etc on nova are too much.
