I have to say what a great day it was. Thank you so much to Matt Ryan and all your family, your neighbours, friends and all the other people who helped out today. What a great bunch of young men (and young ladies) out in the sunshine (!) ..... Well, rain, being physical, having fun, having a brilliant attitude and just enjoying skating!! All the uniforms were great, Police, Ambulance, SES etc. Matt's parents are abslutely fantastic, as were all the other parents who were there. (Of course, I have to say that because I am a parent too). But for those of us who take a keen interest in our kids sports and their passions, it was a great day. Only had to cover my ears from the language a couple of times (!). But I am old and boring, so on the whole, thank you to the organisers and a great day was had by all. I'm sure Carlton will give you his take on it, which was also positive, but from a parent's point of view, thank you for the well organised, well thought out and fabulous day. Robyn Hicks (Carlton's Mum!!!)
