Event Description
Skate Board race in conjunction with the Upwey Billy Cart Races.
250mtr course with bales.
Race format to be confirmed.
Down hill race - (beginner friendly) 4 person heats?
Possible 101 cone challenge?
Possible longboard GS event.
will need helpers for race organisation.

i'd say just run a slalom course. no point on doing a downhill sprint. nice curve in the road to run a slalom track, pump over the speed bump. fuck dude just hijack the event and lay down some boarder cross ramps, get hectic on it

Viv is gunna need some help.
No one knows how it will work, but if we get up there with the intention to have a laugh, then it could be ok.
Will try to get cones and timer organised also.

I wasn't complaining. I think this is great. It stated that the race will be beginner friendly so my post was pretty much telling everyone to not expect much from this. This is good news though. It's a legal downhill skateboard race at an event with a lot of public exposure. Thanks a lot for sharing Bernie.
