sorry, dont worry guys.. the actual event is held on sunday the 30th so you dont have much to worry about apart from people training the day before the event :)

if im not mistaken, the noosa triathlon is on the weekend of the 29th.. this could be a big problem as hillclimb is closed for the use of the triathlon competitors the day that the tri is on?

you only have to pay to use the bus, if you have your own method of transport taking you up the hill then you can still skate! the only thing else youd have to pay for is drinks or a snag at the sausage sizzle, and if you wanna enter the $1 race..

Just letting you guys know I called a place before about camping up there and they told us that there is a triathlon happening that weekend and there will be road closures around the area. They didn't tell us which roads specifically though. They said there will be a long way round.
